HeatherRidge allows buyer to design home

Home buyers seeking larger floor plans, flexibility and competitive pricing will not be disappointed when they visit the new HeatherRidge neighborhood in North Las Vegas, according to Barbara Barnett, director of sales.

The one- and two-story homes are priced from $150,800 to $194,825.

Floor plans range from 1,831 to 3,248 square feet and offer as many as six bedrooms, 4 1/2 baths and a three-car garage.

Home sites are a minimum of 6,000 square feet.

A computer design system allows buyers to modify the basic floor plans, adding casitas, secondary suites, family rooms, lofts, dens, media centers, one or more bedrooms, formal dining rooms, bonus rooms, or wet bars. Rooms and garages can also be extended or combined.

Options include Corian, granite or ceramic-tile counter tops; fireplaces in the family rooms, living rooms or owner suites; skylights; and custom paint. Upgrades are available with appliances, cabinets, electrical and plumbing fixture packages, computer wiring systems and security systems.

Exteriors offer concrete-tile roofs, front-yard landscaping with irrigation, and block walls.

Interiors feature vaulted ceilings, plant shelves, rounded corners, cabinets in a choice of colors, owner suites with garden tubs and walk-in closets in some plans, laundry rooms, and prewiring for cable TV and telephones.

Each home comes with a 10-year warranty.

To visit, take Craig Road to Kings Hill Road, which is west of Commerce Street, and then go west. The sales office is open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
