Altessa brings condos to Summerlin's The Vistas

Altessa, a 280-unit condominium project in Summerlin's The Vistas village, has begun an interest list for potential buyers, according to Scott Lawrence, executive vice president of Pacific Properties, developer of the project.

Sales are expected to begin in January 2006. Prices are expected to start in the high $100,000s.

The single-level condominiums range from 727 to 1,390 square feet. Each one features vaulted ceilings, crown molding, upgraded cabinets and granite counter tops.

"There are 29 variations to the floor plans offered at Altessa," Lawrence said.

The gated complex features a clubhouse, exercise room, fire pit, barbecues, a swimming pool, spa and gazebos.

The project is the sixth for Pacific Properties in the master-planned community.

"We enjoy building in Summerlin," he said. "Our condominiums, combined with Summerlin's impressive list of amenities, make the community a desired address."

The Howard Hughes Corp., developer of the master-planned community, began development on The Vistas in 2000. The 815-acre village includes 28 neighborhoods, two 7-acre entry parks marked with 48-foot clock towers, an elementary school and a site for a 23-acre park.

Situated along the western rim of the Las Vegas Valley, the community is home to more than 100 parks, more than 120 miles of trails, houses of worship, shopping centers, medical facilities, cultural facilities, business parks and nearly 100 model homes.

Single-family homes, townhomes, condominiums and lofts are priced from the mid-$100,000s to more than $2 million. Custom-home sites are priced from the $600,000s.

Monthly rent for apartments starts from the low $900s.
