Realtor cites patience, persistence as essential to selling luxury properties
Buyers searching for luxury homes have specific needs and the agents selling those homes must possess certain skills, according to Florence Shapiro of Prudential Southwest Realty's Fine Homes Division.
"Assisting a client in the sale or purchase of a high-end home requires patience and persistence," Shapiro said.
She pointed out that her success also is based on the resources she enjoys through her relationship with Prudential Southwest.
"The Fine Homes Division offers associates marketing programs and tools," she said, pointing out that these resources are helping her market a $3.8 million home in the Estates at Spanish Trail.
This two-story home is on a golf course and a cul-de-sac. It contains 7,600 square feet and has four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. It has a large kitchen with a back staircase leading to the bedrooms and basement. There are five fireplaces, one outside. The basement is furnished and used as an exercise room with a floor to ceiling mirrored wall and a separate storage closet. It has a library with bookcases. A semicircular drive leads to a three-car garage. The patio has a misting system and a heated swimming pool and spa.
A native of France, Shapiro has worked in Nevada real estate since 1973, and received her broker's license in 1978.
