Trail system central to Green Valley Ranch
Part of the family oriented lifestyle at Green Valley Ranch is the trail system that links neighborhoods with recreational amenities.
The community's first two city parks have opened, and construction is under way on the third. Dos Escuelas Park is being developed adjacent to the John C. Vanderburg Elementary School.
Also featured are neighborhood parks, shade pavilions, landscaped open areas and tree-lined walkways. More than 200 palm trees line both entrances to the community.
Housing ranges from gated townhome developments to single-family homes with as many as six bedrooms in more than 3,000 square feet.
There are about 70 model homes and 21 new neighborhoods at Green Valley Ranch, which is on the south side of Lake Mead Drive between Pecos Road and Arroyo Grande Drive in Henderson.
Neighborhoods under development are: The Cottages and Kimball Hill by Kimball Hill Homes; Monument Pointe by Spectrum Construction; Richmond Heights and Mystic Bay by Richmond American Homes; Stag's Leap by Nigro Associates; Premiere by Pulte Homes; Carriage Lane, Mountain Pointe II Townhomes and Carriage Club by U.S. Home; Sentosa by Kaufman and Broad of Nevada; Crystal Springs, Fountain Hills and Fontana d'or by Coleman Homes; Pacific Images and Pacific Trace by Pacific Homes; Regency Hills, Copper Ridge and Summit Point by Pardee Homes; Altezza Estates and Meritage by Capital Pacific Homes; and The Estates at Green Valley Ranch by American Nevada Corp.
