Canyon Willow Tropicana buyers condo to rent

New residents to Las Vegas should consider purchasing a condomium at Canyon Willow Tropicana rather than renting, according to recent condo buyers Trent Gardner and Sean Donovan.
"Before coming to Las Vegas I checked into the price of renting an apartment, so I knew it was going to be expensive. What I didn't know is there were affordable condominiums in this market I could purchase for less than $500 a month," Gardner said.
The two said the amenities in the Denver floor plan clinched the deal for them.
Kitchens feature raised-panel cabinets and an appliance package that includes a microwave oven.
Standard amenities include a washer and dryer in each home, miniblinds, cultured-marble counter tops and ceramic-tile entries.
Other features include a security gate, assigned covered parking, a fitness center, swimming pool, spa and lush landscaping.
"The reason why we chose Canyon Willow over the other properties was because everything one would need when purchasing a starter home was included," Donovan said.
The development features four floor plans, ranging from 695 to 1,228 square feet.
      Homes prices range from $58,000 for a one-bedroom, one-bath plan to $89,000 for a three-bedroom plan.
To visit, take Tropicana Avenue east, past Boulder Highway, and follow the signs.
The sale office is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
