First models take shape at Red Rock
Excitement is mounting as the first model homes take shape at Red Rock Country Club in Summerlin, according to Jack Conlon, president of Sunrise Colony Co., the developer. Conlon said framing is complete for the Acacia Collection Series 1000 model homes.
The 738-acre, guard-gated community will be highlighted by two 18-hole Palmer-designed golf courses along with a 44,000-square-foot main clubhouse, an 8,000-square-foot sports club, an aquatic center and a tennis center.
The neighborhood will feature about 1,100 homes in 15 designs, ranging from 2,156 to 5,232 square feet. Homes with as many as six bedrooms will be available and many will offer attached or detached casitas adding as much as 425 square feet for private dens, guest rooms, libraries, home offices and other possibilities.
Early phase pricing ranges from the mid-$200,000s to the $800,000s.
Todd Jackson, vice president of sales for the development, said more than 100 reservations have been made.
"Although our first models are still under construction, prospective buyers can already sense the strong architecture and innovative design of these homes," Jackson said, adding that pre-grand opening tours of the models are available by appointment. "We are finding that a diverse group of buyers are attracted to Red Rock Country Club thanks to the overall design of the community and the outstanding architecture of the homes. Right now, we are actively communicating with our prospective buyers. Each time a new phase of homes is released, letters describing the location of the new release and the available product types are being sent to everyone on our interest list."
The Acacia Collection Series 1000 features four, one- and two-story floor plans. The designs range from 2,156 to 3,444 square feet and are priced from $253,000. The largest three models feature three-car garages, including two plans with a side-load design. Golf course home sites are available, as well as homes with views of the Las Vegas Valley and mountains.
The exteriors of the homes in the Acacia Collection feature complete front- and backyard landscaping with an irrigation system and lighting, patios and courtyards in most plans.
Interior features include owner suites with walk-in closets, high ceilings in select areas, gas fireplaces, upgraded appliances, maple cabinets with concealed hinges in the kitchens and baths, raised-panel interior doors, frameless mirrored wardrobe doors and prewiring for a security system.
A design studio is under construction and is projected to open with the model homes. The company's interior designers can assist home buyers in the selection of options and upgrades for their homes.
Several membership opportunities are offered at Red Rock Country Club including two different levels of golf memberships, a sports membership package, as well as social and swim memberships. Membership is open to residents and nonresidents.
The development's sales and information center is at Sahara Avenue and Town Center Drive. Office hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
