Tuscan Cliffs provides 'lift' for residents

Pacific Southwest Development is offering elevators in their semi-custom homes at Tuscan Cliffs, a guard-gated neighborhood within the Southern Highlands community in Henderson.

The elevator cars are accessed via a typical interior door plus an accordion gate, are hydraulically driven and include several systems designed to ensure safety, according to the builder. Using roughly the floor space of a small bath while providing room enough for two people, the cars feature a 950-pound capacity, computer control and light-up buttons.

Three of the four two-story floor plans in the semi-custom neighborhood allow for an elevator option.

Floor plans at the 155-home neighborhood range from 4,328 to 5,441 square feet. Various design options can bring the homes to 6,000 square feet. Base prices range from $1 million to $1.25 million.

To visit, take Interstate 15 to the St. Rose Parkway exit and go west. Drive north on Southern Highlands Parkway and proceed to Stonewater Lane, then turn left and follow the signs.

The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, except on Monday, when it opens at 1 p.m.
