Pacific Southwest touts 'integrated living' at New Millennium
Last month Pacific Southwest Development, which has been building homes in Southern Nevada for 20 years, unveiled its New Millennium semi-custom home models at Tuscan Cliffs, a guard-gated neighborhood within the Southern Highlands community in the southwestern Las Vegas Valley, according to sales agent Mike Goeth.
The 155-lot subdivision features Tuscan-style homes and a private park. Each of the home sites measures at least one-quarter of an acre. Premium lots are available, including mountainside home sites in future phase releases. The neighborhood recently released its second phase.

The homes provide amenities for "integrated living," allowing homeowners to combine the use of their courtyards and interior spaces, Goeth said. Such features include exterior glass pocket doors, rear patios, outdoor summer kitchens, courtyards with fireplaces and balconies overlooking rear yards and interior courtyards.
"We're trying to integrate the indoors and the outdoors of the homes," Goeth said.
Four two-story floor plans are available, with optional upstairs and downstairs courtyard casitas. In their base configurations, plans range from 4,328 to 5,441 square feet. Various design options can bring the homes to 6,000 square feet.
Plan One, as modeled, features an interior courtyard with a fireplace and exterior glass pocket doors leading to the backyard. Inside, the home includes a barrel-rolled ceiling over the dining room. It provides four bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, a library and a three-car tandem garage.
Plan Two, a four-bedroom, three-bath home, offers a butler's pantry, a master suite with a retreat, a bonus room and three-car tandem garage.
With five bedrooms and 4 1/2 baths in its base configuration, Plan Three opens to a gallery area. Off the rear, the patio can be accessed through a glass pocket door opening from the living room and kitchen into an outdoor kitchen. The home includes two courtyards and two garages, one two-car and one single-car.
Plan Four, a five-bedroom, 4 1/2 bath home, also features a gallery near the entry, plus a butler's pantry, library, master suite with a retreat and dual closets, a loft and bonus room.
In addition, all of the homes are designed to meet Energy Star standards.
Various design options allow for main-level and upper-level casitas, side-loading garages, media rooms, exercise rooms, bonus rooms, and additional bedrooms and baths.
Base prices range from $1 million to $1.2 million.
