Tuscan Cliffs provides 'personalized' room configurations

Builder features two-story plans at Southern Highlands community

The two-story, Tuscan-inspired floor plans featured in Pacific Southwest Development's Tuscan Cliffs range from 4,328 to 5,441 square feet in their base configurations, with customizing opportunities that can expand a plan to as large as 6,000 square feet.

Developed within the mountainside Southern Highlands master plan, the neighborhood offers 60 floor-plan combinations plus several elevation choices.

"With as many as 20 different room configurations in each of the four models, home buyers may incorporate all of the living spaces they desire," said Joe Kramer, vice president of Pacific Southwest Development. "We have had tremendous feedback since our grand opening. Visitors have been astounded by the homes' functionality and the ability to customize living spaces."

Personalized configurations in the semi-custom homes include wine storage areas, upstairs and downstairs casitas, outdoor kitchens, theater rooms, exercise rooms, additional bedrooms and baths, duel master suites and additional garage spaces.

One possibility, shown in the Plan One model, provides a game room and entertainment area measuring more than 1,000 square feet with an optional wet bar and home theater area.

"We work with our buyers allowing them to request those personalized details important to their needs," Kramer said.

"We take their requests seriously. If their special requests are something that our other buyers may want to see, we may incorporate them into our floor plans, or into future neighborhoods."

All homes in Tuscan Cliffs are built on lots of at least one-quarter acre, providing front and interior courtyards and outdoor kitchens. Premium lots, including mountainside home sites offering panoramic views, are available in future phase releases.

Some designs feature 22-foot-high foyers, sand-finished stucco exteriors with stone veneer, 10- to 22-foot ceilings, Andersen windows with wood-clad details, Kohler plumbing fixtures, 6-foot garden tubs and structured wiring systems.

Kitchens provide stainless steel appliances, 42-inch maple cabinetry, granite countertops, decorative drive-way pavers, carriage-style garage doors, in addition to finished front courtyards.

All of the homes are designed to meet Energy Star standards.

Home interior options include elevators, glass block accents, decorative columns, ceiling treatments, fireplaces, surveillance systems, wrought-iron accents, custom paint packages, stylish door upgrades as well as appliance upgrades.

Exterior amenities include disappearing glass doors, outdoor fireplaces and water features, balconies and decks, barbecues and outdoor kitchens, and a choice of natural or synthetic stone exterior detailing.

Base prices range from $1 to $1.2 million.

For a limited time, the builder will pay one year's dues for a social membership to the Southern Highlands Golf Club with each purchase of a new home in the neighborhood. The offer is subject to application approval.

To visit, take Interstate 15 to the St. Rose Parkway exit and go west. Drive north on Southern Highlands Parkway and proceed to Stonewater Lane, then turn left and follow the signs. Office hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, except on Monday, when they open at 1 p.m.
